Standing on Stardust Releases “Degradation”

Hailing from Washington, DC, and now located in Los Angeles, CA, Standing on Stardust is the brainchild of experimental electronic producer Justin Barini-Rivers, whose made his mark stretching the confines of organic house and techno over the last two decades. A staple of the early electronic dance scene in Washington, DC, Standing on Stardust quickly established himself as a top-notch house and techno producer with eloquent production that could span both underground and popular music.

As an engineer, Standing on Stardust supported many up-and-coming producers in the District, Maryland, and Virginia area, and worked with established artists all along the East and West Coasts. After migrating to California, Standing on Stardust got his first major credit remixing KLP’s 2019 hit “Heater,” which stretched across the US and Australian airwaves.

Standing on Stardust would follow-up by exploring new takes on classic EDM hits with his unofficial remixes of Flume and Kin and build out the debut mixtape for his latest project “Blvksite.” Returning to his former moniker, Return Records couldn’t be more excited to release the second installment of Standing on Stardust “Degradation,” which comes out on all streaming platforms April 9th!
