He has toured iconic U.S. venues with Grammy-nominated artists and released work on indie labels across the U.S. and Europe. In 2019, he launched Deloitte’s Music Industry Consulting Practice and now partners with a major performance rights organization, providing data services to leading publishers and platforms.

    Legendary Music Executive and Record Producer Rick Bacchus served as Chairman and President of Operations for the label. Rick Bacchus is well known among his peers in the music industry for being personally involved in the success of numerous music shows and established recording artists globally. Rick is also an established songwriter, composer and producer who is a self-taught musician who is very proficient at playing numerous music instruments.

Internship Program

Return Records seeks a creative and driven Digital Marketing Intern for Summer 2026 to support artist promotion, brand growth, and campaign execution in their Midtown Manhattan studio. The intern will work closely with artists, producers, and the marketing team to develop and execute digital strategies that amplify music releases through Return Records and The Orchard.

Key responsibilities include creating and scheduling content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), assisting with digital release campaigns, analyzing engagement metrics, and supporting audience growth initiatives. The intern will collaborate on content ideation, short-form video production, email marketing, and artist branding. Additional responsibilities include researching industry trends, influencer outreach, assisting with live event promotion, and supporting general label marketing operations.

Interns will contribute to marketing strategy development, recruitment efforts, and campaign reporting while staying current with emerging digital tools, platform updates, and music marketing trends.

Compensation & Requirements:
This position is unpaid and requires proof of enrollment for academic credit. Travel and meal reimbursements may be provided for approved label events and activations. Interns are expected to commit to a minimum of 15–20 weekly office hours throughout the summer term.

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Experience managing social media platforms (personal or professional accounts)

  • Basic knowledge of content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Interest in music marketing, branding, and artist development

  • Ability to analyze social media insights and campaign performance

  • Creativity, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Experience with paid ads, analytics tools, or prior marketing internships is a plus but not required.
