Up-and-coming Rap Star Forsyth Inks Deal with Return Records

Return Records makes a major move in the Hip-Hop scene by signing LA-based up-and-coming rap star Forsyth to its’ growing R&B roster. Forsyth or James Atkinson is originally from NYV, and you’ll hear that in his music. The up-and-coming performer has moved around a lot, but current resides in Los Angeles because he loves the sunshine. Forsyth describes his music as a return to an early/mid 2000’s feel with a combination of witty lyrics, a punchy flow and a wide variety of sound & style. Forsyth traverses’ multiple genres ranging from turn-up to story-telling rap and R&B, all glued together by catchy melodies and hooks that come from random moments of inspiration and memories. Forsyth has had the pleasure of working with a variety of different artists including Jadakiss, Prop Dylan, Gako, Box of Beats, JackEL, Cam James, Clyde Kelley and more. I've also performed at notable venues including Soho House (Hollywood), the MGM Grand in Las Vegas & Piano’s (East Village, NYC). Return Records couldn’t be more excited to have this future hip-hop star on the label’s roster.
