Standing on Stardust joins Return Records
Return Records signs LA-based producer Standing on Stardust to a single deal for his upcoming release “Degradation.” Based in LA, but originally from DC, Standing on Stardust (AKA Justin Barini-Rivers) is an eclectic electronic producer well-versed in underground house and techno has built a long and successful career as a mixing and mastering engineer. He began producing and performing music right when electronic dance music was becoming the main focal point of the DC music scene in the early 2010s, and kept refining his sound with his brother Drew Barini-Rivers, who also goes by the name “Yung Lotion.” Together, they continued to push the boundaries of underground music and worked with notable pop and rock artists too like Cautious Clay. Upon moving out to Los Angeles, Justin did a high-profile remix of the Australian singer, songwriter, producer, DJ, and radio personality Kristy Lee Peters or “KLP” hit record “Heater.” Return Records is very excited to have Standing on Stardust grow it’s emerging roster of talented dance music producers and recording artists.
