Return Records and The Ethereal Preview New York Fashion Week F/W 2024 with Immersive Music x Fashion Showcase
Return Records has partnered with avant-garde fashion house The Ethereal to co-host a preview event for New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024. Held on September 7, 2024, the event brought together music, fashion, and visual design in a bold reimagining of what a runway experience can be.
Titled Sonic Threads, the evening fused The Ethereal’s upcoming F/W 2024 collection with a custom-curated soundtrack produced by Return Records artists, including Russell, Griffn, and members of the Groove Kitchen DJ collective. Live performances were woven throughout the show, blurring the lines between concert, installation, and fashion presentation.
“This wasn’t just a preview—it was a performance,” said a spokesperson from Return Records. “We believe that fashion and music are part of the same cultural conversation, and this event was our way of showing how deeply they can inform one another.”
Held at a converted warehouse space in Brooklyn, the evening drew a mix of artists, tastemakers, and press, offering an exclusive first look at The Ethereal’s new line alongside unreleased tracks from Return Records’ fall catalog.
The event marks an ongoing collaboration between Return Records and The Ethereal, with more cross-platform activations planned for late 2024 and 2025.
