New Career Opportunities

To establish Return Records in NYC, the label is seeking the help and advice of a couple of key specialists to improve our financial and legal strategy, as well as to help establish our day-to-day operations in New York City for tasks like representing records for publishing administration, recruiting new artists to the label, marketing and distributing key records, and booking artists and producers for live events. Here are some of the roles we seek in our efforts to relaunch in the Big Apple:

  • Intern: We're interns to help with A&R, Publishing, Marketing, and Booking. As an intern, you’ll be the driving force behind scouting new artists by attending industry events, identifying talent, and evaluating artists for their market potential. You’ll also assist in managing music publishing rights, implementing strategies, and tracking royalties. Furthermore, interns are invited to help the label engage in market research, create promotional materials, and manage our social media profiles. Finally, interns will also help us secure venues and gigs for our artists by securing venues and negotiating contracts for live performances.

  • Music Lawyer: We're looking for a Music Lawyer to assist with specific, time-sensitive legal tasks like business incorporation, contract drafting, and rights disputes.

  • Accountant: We’re looking for a CPA with a passion for music that will help us conduct tax analyses, develop strategies, file taxes and provide bookkeeping help.

  • Video Producer: We’re seeking a Video Producer to create promotional videos to help us deploy social media ads and market our upcoming releases.

Salary Requirements: Compensation varies by role and scope. Interns will receive stipends based on hours worked.

Key Qualifications: We're looking for candidates with proficiency in various software tools, a strong understanding of the music industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for music curation. Specific qualifications like a JD, CPA license, and work authorization in the US may be required for certain roles.

How to Apply: Send your resume and cover letter to info@returnrecords.com if interested.

Return Records is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for all.
